Paste a script, pick a voice and get studio-quality speech in a few seconds. Direct the performance with tags like [whispering] or [laughing], right where you want them.

How to make a voiceover

  1. Type or paste your script, up to 5,000 characters.
  2. Choose a voice: 12 voices, from warm and conversational to clear and authoritative.
  3. Set the delivery: Expressive, Balanced or Steady.
  4. Generate and play it back in the waveform player.

Directing the delivery

You write You hear
[whispering] Don't wake them. A whisper
That's the funniest thing. [laughing] A laugh after the line
Wait... are you sure? A hesitant pause
Three, two, one. Go! Short, punchy beats

Tips

  • Write for the ear: short sentences, natural punctuation.
  • Spell out numbers and abbreviations the way they should be said.
  • Test one paragraph with two or three voices before rendering the whole script.

FAQ

How do I control the emotion?

Write tags in square brackets where you want them, such as [whispering] or [laughing]. Punctuation helps too: commas and full stops become natural pauses.

What do the Delivery options do?

Expressive lets the voice vary more from line to line, Steady keeps it even and consistent, and Balanced sits in between.

How much does it cost?

200 credits per 1,000 characters, counted exactly, with a 5-credit minimum. A 250-character line uses 50 credits. The price updates as you type.

How long can the text be?

Up to 5,000 characters per run. Split longer scripts into parts.

Which languages does it speak?

It reads many languages; write the text in the language you want to hear.

Can I use the audio commercially?

Yes, for voiceovers, videos and other content you publish. Don't use it to imitate a real person's voice without their permission.
