Get a short social ad that looks like a creator filmed it. Describe your product, attach a photo of it, and the app builds a vertical, handheld-style clip with natural light, the product shown in use and quick cuts. It runs on Seedance 2.0, with clips from 4 to 15 seconds and optional sound.
How to make a product ad
- Attach a product photo. Attached images and sound clips act as references, so your product, a person or a place can appear in the ad. Up to 10 files per run; video files can't be used as references.
- Describe the product and how it's used: who uses it, where and for what.
- Set the aspect ratio to 9:16 for stories, reels and shorts. The default is 16:9.
- Choose length and resolution, and leave Sound on if you want audio.
- Generate.
To open the clip on your exact photo instead, switch on First & last frame: the first frame is required, the last is optional.
What to write
Name the product and a real-life moment of use. Short, concrete scenes work best:
- "A reusable steel water bottle, a hiker fills it at a mountain stream and takes a long drink"
- "A compact folding desk lamp, someone unfolds it on a cluttered student desk at night and switches it on"
- "A ceramic pour-over coffee set, morning kitchen, hot water poured in slow circles, steam rising"
- "A canvas weekend backpack, packed on a bed, zipped up, then carried onto a train platform"
Tips
- Use a clean product photo on a plain background for the most faithful product.
- Describe the hands and the setting. "In use" is the heart of this style, so say what the person does with it.
- Draft at 480p on Mini or Fast, then render the one you like at 720p or 1080p.
- Make a few variants with different settings or users, and test them against each other.
After you generate
Use Recreate to run the same settings again, or Reuse prompt to try a new angle on the copy. Send to another tool to finish: Add subtitles, Trim, Upscale, Color grade, Convert, or Make a GIF for a quick preview.
