Give every video a thumbnail that reads at a glance. Type the title, attach a photo of your face, and this app builds a thumbnail with bold, legible title text, high contrast, an expressive face and a clean composition. It runs on GPT-Image 2.5, a model suited to text in images.
How to make a thumbnail
- Write the title you want on the image, in quotes, plus the idea of the video.
- Attach a photo of your face (optional). Each attached image adds 38 credits.
- Set the aspect ratio to 16:9. The default is 1:1.
- Choose quality, resolution and count: Low to Max, 1K to 4K, 1 to 4 images per run.
- Generate a few options and pick the clearest one.
What to write
Put the exact title text in quotes, then describe the expression and one key visual:
- Title "I Tried Baking for 30 Days", surprised face, a collapsed cake on the counter, warm kitchen colors
- Title "Tiny Cabin Tour", big smile, a small wooden cabin in a snowy forest behind me
- Title "Budget Travel Mistakes", worried expression, a crumpled paper map and an overstuffed backpack
- Title "My First Marathon", exhausted but happy, finish line ribbon, bright blue sky
Tips
- Keep titles short. Three to five words are easier to read on a small screen.
- Name the emotion. Surprised, excited, worried: the expressive face is part of the template.
- Use one main visual. A single object or setting keeps the composition clean.
- Draft at Medium quality, then rerun the winner at High or above.
- Check the spelling of the title text before you post; rerun if a letter is off.
After you generate
Use Recreate to run the same settings again, or Reuse prompt to test another title. Send to another tool: Erase objects to clean up a detail, Upscale, Color grade, Remove background, or Convert to change the file format.
