Remove people, objects, text and clutter from a photo. Paint over what should go, or simply name it, and the gap is filled with background that matches the rest of the picture.

How to erase an object

  1. Upload the photo.
  2. Paint the area to remove, covering it completely and a little past the edges. Or skip painting and type what to remove.
  3. Erase and compare before and after.

Tips

  • Paint generously. Leftover edges and shadows are what give an edit away.
  • Remember the shadow. Paint it too, or name it: "the bag and its shadow".
  • Several objects? Paint them all in one go, or erase them one at a time for the most control.

FAQ

How do I choose what to remove?

Two ways: paint over it with the brush, or describe it ("the man on the left", "the watermark"). Painting is the most precise; describing is fastest.

What fills the gap?

Background that matches the surroundings: the wall, sky, table or texture behind the object.

How much does it cost?

63 credits per image.

What works best?

Objects against fairly simple backgrounds. Large objects covering detailed scenes are harder, because more has to be invented.

Can I check the result?

Yes. It opens in a before-and-after view; drag the divider to compare.
