Found a frame with colors you love? Turn it into a LUT. Upload the reference, optionally add a frame of your own footage, and download a .cube file you can drop onto any clip or photo.
How to create a LUT
- Reference look: a still or screenshot with the colors you want.
- Your footage (optional): a frame from the shot you'll grade, for a closer match.
- Name the look if you like; the name is written into the file.
- Set strength and size, then generate and download the .cube.
Tips
- Pick a reference with a range of tones: shadows, mid-tones and highlights give the LUT more to learn from.
- Use the same footage frame you plan to grade, ideally neutral and well exposed.
- Try it on stills first with Color Grade Image, then apply it to video with Color Grade Video.
