Privacy Policy

Last updated October 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Zanno ("we", "us") collects when you use zanno.ai and its apps, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: support@zanno.ai.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile picture Google shares with us.

Your content. The prompts you write, the files you upload, the files our tools generate for you, and your conversations with the assistant. We store them so you can find them again in your library.

Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe tells us your plan, what you paid, and links to your invoices. If you enter billing details for invoices (name, address, tax ID), we store those too.

How you use the service. The runs you start, the credits they use, and their results, so we can charge correctly, refund failed runs and help when something goes wrong.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can invite you.

Analytics and ad measurement, only with your consent. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we record the pages you visit, where you came from (referrer, campaign tags and ad click IDs), your approximate location (country, region and city, derived from your IP address by our host), your language, and your device, browser and operating system. We also load Google Analytics and Google Ads tags. If you decline, none of this runs.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: sign you in, run the tools you choose, store your files and show your history.
  • To bill you: plans, credits, top-ups, invoices and refunds.
  • To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, fraud and misuse of free credits.
  • To email you: sign-in links, invitations and messages about your account. We don't send marketing email without your permission.
  • To understand and improve the product, using the analytics above when you've consented.

Who processes your data for us

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run Zanno, and only for that purpose:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and app.
  • Supabase: hosts our database.
  • Cloudflare: stores your files and sends our email.
  • Stripe: processes payments.
  • Google: Google sign-in (if you use it), Google Analytics and Google Ads (with your consent), and the Gemini models behind the assistant.
  • AI model providers: when you run a tool, your prompt and the files it needs are sent to the provider that runs that model, currently WaveSpeed AI, Kie.ai or ElevenLabs, which may pass them to the company that makes the model.

We don't sell your personal data. We may disclose data when the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Account data and content: as long as your account exists.
  • Deleted files: they stay in your trash for 30 days and are then deleted permanently.
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • If you ask us to delete your account: we delete your account data and content, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

  • You can see and delete your files in your library at any time.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to stop processing it, by emailing support@zanno.ai. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your data protection authority.
  • To change your cookie choice, clear this site's cookies and local storage. The banner will ask again.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage that the service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your cookie choice. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them.

Children

Zanno is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For significant changes we'll let you know on the site or by email.
