ChatGPT supports custom MCP apps on Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, on ChatGPT for the web, and an admin or owner has to turn on developer mode first. Individual Plus and Pro accounts can't add custom MCP apps yet; use Claude, Codex or Cursor instead.

Set it up.

    Turn on developer mode

    Business: an admin or owner turns it on for themselves when creating an app (Workspace settings → Apps → Create). Enterprise and Edu: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, once an admin has given you access.

    Create the app

    Go to Apps → Create, paste the connector URL as the endpoint, choose OAuth, then click "Scan Tools". Sign in to Zanno and allow access when asked, wait for the scan, and click Create.

    Use it in a chat

    Pick Zanno from the tools menu in a new chat, or mention it in your message. ChatGPT asks before running actions that use your credits.

    Share it with your workspace

    Admins and owners can publish the draft from Workspace settings → Apps → Drafts. Each person still signs in with their own Zanno account.
