Kling 3.0 is Kuaishou's video model for smooth, realistic motion. Give it a written scene or a starting image and it returns an MP4 of 3 to 15 seconds, in landscape, vertical or square. With only two settings, aspect ratio and duration, it is quick to set up.
What you can do with it
- Text to video. Describe a shot and get a clip with natural-looking movement.
- Image to video. Attach a photo or illustration; the first image you attach becomes the opening frame and the model animates from there.
- Vertical, square or wide. 9:16 for stories and reels, 1:1 for feeds, 16:9 for everything else.
How to use it
- Write the shot in the composer.
- Attach a starting image if you want the clip to begin from it.
- Pick an aspect ratio and a duration.
- Check the price in the composer, then generate.
Writing prompts for Kling 3.0
Motion is the point of this model, so spend most of the prompt on movement.
- Describe the action in physical terms. "Her hair lifts in the wind as she turns to look over her shoulder" gives the model clear motion to render.
- Keep it to one continuous moment. One subject, one action, one place.
- Name the camera behavior. Static tripod shot, slow push-in, smooth tracking shot beside the subject.
- Set the pace. Slow and graceful, brisk, sudden. A word or two changes the feel of the clip.
- From a starting image, describe what moves and how, rather than what is already in the frame.
Example prompts:
- A dancer in a flowing red dress spins on an empty stage, fabric swirling around her. Single spotlight, slow orbit around her.
- Starting from the attached photo: the waves roll in gently, the palm leaves sway, and the camera drifts slowly to the right.
Choosing settings
- Aspect ratio: 16:9 (default), 9:16 or 1:1.
- Duration: 3 to 15 seconds, default 8.
Kling 3.0 costs 280 credits per second of video, whether you start from text or an image. Multiply by the duration: 3 seconds is 840 credits, 5 seconds is 1,400, 8 seconds is 2,240 and 15 seconds is 4,200. Short clips are an inexpensive way to check that the motion looks right before committing to a longer one. The composer shows the exact price before you generate.
Kling 3.0 has no sound or resolution settings. If you want audio generated with the clip or control over the ending frame, look at Seedance 2.0 or Veo 3.1.
