Block out a scene before you shoot it. Describe what happens and get a storyboard sheet with six panels, camera arrows and shot notes you can share with your crew.

How to storyboard a scene

  1. Describe the scene beat by beat.
  2. Pick 4:3 or 16:9 for a sheet layout.
  3. Generate and refine the description until the beats are right.

Tips

  • List the beats in order: "enters, sees the letter, runs to the window".
  • Mention shot sizes you have in mind: wide, close-up, over the shoulder.

FAQ

What do I get?

A sheet of six numbered panels in pencil-and-marker style, with arrows for camera moves and a short note under each panel.

How is it different from Storyboard Grid?

Storyboard Grid tells a scene in nine black-and-white panels. Director's Storyboard uses six larger panels and adds arrows for camera moves, for a sheet you can shoot from.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the quality and size you pick: from 25 credits for a Low-quality 1K image to 225 at High quality (the default). The composer shows the price before you generate.
